So after showing up at work with a hand full of red roses Cameron informed me that i was driving all night and I wasn't to ask questions...all night of doing what???...As we head to my place he tells me we have reservations at 6:30 so i have 30 minutes to get dressed and out the door. Soon enough we were back in the car (me driving) then as Cameron tells me when to turn and which way to turn, I find us at 'The Keg'. There we enjoyed a nice dinner and a glass of wine. When we got back to the car I was once again following turn here directions making my way back to my place. I was then told to change into something warm and my rubber boots were suggested. Shortly we were back in the car and following directions which lead to Rotary Park (walking trails along the waterfront), we walked out to a bench over looking the bay and sat talking for a bit, Cam then asked me IF he asked for my promise ring back if I would give it to him (by now I am sure of what’s to come). Well he never asked and conversation moved on. As we headed back to the car he said "so can I have your ring back?" , so i took it off and handed it back to him as we continued to walk back to the car. With a quick stop for a game of X's and O's on the play ground we were back at the car. As cam opened the car door for me I see one of my hoop necklace’s hanging on the steering wheel...along with my engagement ring....As i take the ring off the necklace Cam gets down on one knee and asked "Kari, Will you marry me?" And of course I said "Yes!!!!!" Its Official I"M ENGAGED!

Cameron & Kari! After going through the Engagement Ring and Wedding Ring shopping marathon I was hoping for your phone call to tell me what happened! Cameron, I am so excited for you that she didn't say NO... Especially glad you didn't ask for the promise ring back the way YOU wanted to! Kari, just wanted to let you know that Cameron left here with his Father's and my blessing. Congratulations to both of you!
